Gary III and Sheman have provided us with glimpses of the area east of the Mayan Palace and Grand Bliss - the area that may become Nayar Town. Also, note in one of the photos from Gray III the new construction on property that is near the Ameca River and east of Grand Luxxe II.
Speculation: We speculate that this new structure will become another Grand Luxxe building.
Nice if true....
Thank you Gary III and Sherman.

and Joanne sent us a map of the Nuevo Vallarta property. It gives a
nice proforma of the development as Grupo Mayan (Grupo Vidanta) see the
property expanding. Interestingly, the development is moving in the
same direction as we were told in December 2007 when we purchased our
Luxxe weeks. We are happy about that because it shows the organization
is very good at executing their plans.
Take a look below.

Thanks to Linda for the pictures that appear below. We see lots of change since November 2008, when we first stayed at the Grand Mayan at Nuevo Vallarta. The property is growing, the waterways are expanding and the property is taking shape. We are all going to be quite happy when this property is done. It will be the flagship for the other locations. Is this fun or what!
New Nayar Beach and River Town - Before (November 2008). We took this picture to watch the town grow. Christmas 2007, there was a golf course where the lake is now.
Welcome to Nayar Beach and River Town
We found information about the newest concept that will be introduced at the Nuevo Vallarta Grand Mayan property. Nayar Town is envisioned by Vedanta as an Old World Mexican town with high end shopping, a convention center, an entertainment center with Las Vegas style entertainment, restaurants, trains, lakes, rivers and more.
Vedanta Capital owns the Grupo Mayan brands, including Grand Mayan, Mayan Palace, Sea Garden and Grand Luxxe. Additionally, it owns the Bliss, Grand Bliss and other luxury brands of hotels and golf courses. We speculate that the principals of Vedanta Capital have successfully consolidated several brands that were previously owned independently into one ownership entity. Based upon the Wikipedia posts and the backgrounds of the company's principals, Vedanta Capital Group wants to expand the reach of its brands by making considerable capital improvements to many of the existing properties.
We are excited to see these developments evolve, although we will certainly have to put up with a tremendous amount of construction in the interim. Stay tuned.......
