Thanks, John and Ruth, your photos have provided us with a better understanding of the Nuevo Vallarta construction status. The photos on this page show the progress being made, primarily on the Grand Bliss building, but also on the Mayan Palace in the background. Its no wonder the Mayan Palace is closed.

We are grateful to NHWEID, who photographed the Acapulco Mayan property during his last trip in February 2009 and posted his photos on Flickr.com. The photos provide a great impression of the property from the beach and give a wonderful view of the new Grand Bliss facility at Acapulco. What a beautiful beach and area it is. Without photos like these, those of us who have not been able to travel there would be clue less about the beauty of the area and facility.
These are just a few of the great impressions NHWEID took of the Acapulco area. Check out his other photos on Flickr.com. An apparent sailor, he has a great eye and has done a great job of capturing the feeling of the place. Thank you for taking and allowing us to post your pictures, NHWEID!
Now how about some speculation.......the curves on the Grand Bliss building look suspiciously similar to the curves on the Nuevo Grand Luxxe Towers. Do the Bliss and Grand Bliss model units have curved decks? The only models showing curved decks we know of are the Villa models in Nuevo, which are in the Grand Luxxe Residence Club tower. If the end units of the building shown below are in fact Grand Bliss units, they are very similar to the Luxxe Villa units. And......those end units sure are going to be in demand, aren't they?!
Remember, now,......these are the only pictures we have.....total speculation! And, we are speculating purely for the fun of it. We have absolutely no basis for saying the building will be anything but what NHWEID has reported in Flickr.com.
News Flash! The building in the photo IS a Bliss / Grand Bliss building.....no Luxxe involved. So much for speculation!
